Planning Your Night

Mobile App

Smartphone users will be able to navigate Northern Spark with a mobile app that contains key information about all of the projects and venues, including maps, times, locations, and services. Available now as both an iPhone and Android app. Read more about it on the Northern Spark blog.

My Night

My Night is a feature that lets you customize a list of projects to view only those you want to see, including times and locations. Print it, share it, or transfer it to the festival’s mobile app. Click on the My Night icon in the upper right on any page of the website to access. Read more about it on the Northern Spark blog.

My Night Highlights
To help you navigate the festival’s over 120 activities, we’ve also invited a few people to make a list of projects they don’t want to miss. They simply made a selection using the site’s My Night feature, and then we added their lists as a filter on the artist list called “My Night Highlights.” Additionally, a few guests chose to write extended blog entries. Follow in their footsteps, or make your own!

Web

The Northern Spark 2012 project list can be sorted by artist name, project title, or time. Filters allow you to view projects by zone, site, or presenting partner. Plan your night by searching for a particular artist, a must-see project or site, an area you’d like to explore, or the specific time of some events.

Printed Festival Guide

A printed guidebook with a complete list of all projects and maps will be available in June at all participating venues and other sites, which will be posted on our blog. A PDF is available to download now.

Information Tents

Start your art adventure at any of the seven Northern Spark Information Tents and tables marked on festival maps. Pick up the event guidebook or talk to the friendly volunteers. The two main Information Tents near the Stone Arch Bridge will have first aid supplies and night-of-festival updates.
