Moving Right Along
It’s been a busy past two weeks, but THINK AND WONDER is moving right along and coming to shape. After painting, I began screwing in light bulbs and got about halfway through (approx 2000 bulbs) by myself. Last night I had a “Light Bulb Screwing Party” where a group of AWESOME friends came by to lend a hand. We finishing lighting every single letter!
In the meantime, one of my install assistants, Frank Haehnel, built a beautiful custom rack which will go on the back of his pickup truck for transport of the letters down to the bridge. It will take us about 10 trips to get everything from the University to the Stone Arch.
